Rattan - Shade Only - 31 cm Warm Natural Rattan Shade

The shade features a classic tapered silhouette, with a narrow 10 cm top diameter widening to 31 cm at the bottom. Natural rattan is woven around a steel framework, combining an organic exterior with an internal structure that maintains the shade's shape.

Its natural brown finish highlights the texture and character of the woven material. The open construction creates a lighter visual appearance than a solid fabric shade and complements timber, ceramic and metal lamp bases.

This is a handmade fitting. Small tooling marks and slight variation in pattern or finish are natural results of the manufacturing process, not faults.

The Endon Rattan 122587 is a decorative lamp shade rather than a complete light fitting. It is designed for use with a compatible existing lampholder and has no built-in light source, switch or electrical components.

A fixed gimbal attachment is designed to accommodate E14, B22 and E27 lampholders. Check the fitting arrangement on your existing lamp before purchasing to ensure a suitable connection.

Unlike an opaque fabric shade, the woven rattan construction allows light to pass through the spaces between its strands. This can create gentle decorative light patterns on nearby surfaces, while the open bottom permits more direct downward illumination.

LED bulbs can be used with an appropriately matched lamp base and lampholder. The brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb selected, while switching and any available brightness controls depend on the lamp itself.

The shade has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor environments.

Will the Endon Rattan 122587 shade fit my existing lamp?

The shade has a fixed gimbal attachment and is listed as compatible with E14, B22 and E27 lampholders. Before ordering, check the attachment arrangement on your existing lamp. Also consider the shade's 31 cm bottom diameter and 16 cm height to ensure its proportions suit your lamp base.

Is this a complete lamp or just a replacement shade?

This product is the rattan shade only. It does not include a lamp base, lampholder or bulb. It is intended to be fitted to a compatible existing lamp, allowing you to change the appearance of your lighting without replacing the complete fitting.

Does the woven rattan block the light?

The shade has an open woven construction rather than a solid fabric covering. Some light passes through the spaces between the rattan strands, which can produce decorative patterns on nearby surfaces. The open bottom also allows direct downward illumination. The overall effect depends on your chosen bulb and lamp position.

Can I use an LED bulb with this shade?

Yes.
