1. INFORMATION ABOUT US

This site is operated by Findalight.com. The goods you purchase will be supplied by findalight.com ("we"). We are registered in the CRO Company Registration Office in Republic of Ireland under company number 650848 with our registered office at Unit 106 Lagan Road, Dublin Industrial Estate, Glasnevin, Dublin11 D11 TX99 which is our main trading address. Our VAT number is IE 5055921A.

2. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy which you could look up here.

3. ORDERING

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out" and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input in your order up until the point at which you place your order by clicking the "Buy" button on the checkout page. If you submit an order for goods via the findalight.com website, this will be treated as an order/contract between findalight.com and the customer.
We will acknowledge confirmation of your order by sending you an automatically generated e-mail accepting your order. You will also receive an e-mail/text regarding lead time, on dispatch, you will be notified by e-mail and text. In the event of a delay, you will be contacted by email/text or phone.
The order contract will relate only to those specific goods which are referred to the shopping basket.
You should read and check the details in the confirmation e-mail to ensure that all products and details are correct. If the details in the email confirming your order are not correct, or if you are not satisfied with the details in the email, please contact us at info@findalight.com
The contractual language is English.
When we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply goods that conform to these terms and conditions.

4. PRICE AND DELIVERY COSTS

The information displayed on this site relating to pricing is subject to change by us without notice.
Occasionally, an error may occur and goods may be incorrectly priced in which circumstances we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or at all. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price. If we are unable to contact you or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price, we will cancel your order and refund the price you have paid. Unless stated otherwise, all prices include VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery costs. Delivery costs can be looked up here.

5. AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY

Please note that while we attempt to be as accurate as possible and make every effort to keep pictures up to date, it is impossible to be totally accurate. Colour-tones may vary depending on your computer’s screen settings and supplier/manufacturer's specifications prices are subject to change at any time. 
Many products also have rolling changes made through the course of their product life. Therefore, Find a light does not warrant that product description or other content of this site is 100% accurate, complete, current or error-free. Glass fittings may have variations in the glass due to the nature of the product. During the manufacturing process, bubbles, tiny tooling marks, pattern variation, and colour variation can occur. This is not seen as an imperfection. They are characteristics of hand made glass. Each piece is unique. Our stock turnover is very high and we will normally send out the latest model unless it specifies otherwise in the product description.
The information displayed on this site relating to availability is subject to change by us without notice. We cannot guarantee permanent or continuous availability of all products on this site. All orders are subject to availability at all times.
We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order on this site.
We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods on any specified date we agree, or if no date is specified, within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, adverse weather conditions, unpredictable delays caused by traffic congestion, road works, diversions or mechanical breakdowns, in each case to the extent beyond our reasonable control) we may not be able to deliver the goods within these timescales and we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the goods if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by such circumstances. In the event that a delivery does not take place, we will agree on alternative delivery date.
We are also not responsible for any delay in delivery caused by the unavailability of someone to take delivery of the products. It is your responsibility to contact the post office or courier company as applicable to arrange the collection or delivery of products that could not be delivered because you were unavailable.

Please check your goods within 48 hours of arrival, check that there are no breakages, the products are what you ordered and that the finish is correct.

6. PAYMENT

Payment for goods must be made in accordance with the procedure explained in the information page “Shipping and payment”.

7. RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days. No goods shall be returned without prior agreement with Find A Light. You must inform us of your intention to return/cancel your order within 14 days of receipt by completing the returns form (Link to HOW TO) . You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods to Find A Light. If you cancel your order before despatch you will be refunded in full. If Find A Light is at fault we will cover the cost of return.

  • RETURNING GOODS 

Please return the goods on or before the 14th day after your notification to return. We do advise you use an insured signed for service when returning your goods to us. Unsuitable items can be accepted back for refund provided they are unused, the cable of the light has not been cut and the items are in their original packaging and box.

Please be aware we are not liable for any goods returned to Find a light which are damaged in transit, these goods will not be refunded.

  • FAULTY/DAMAGED ITEMS.

Please check your goods within 48 hours of their arrival. Check that there are no breakages and the product is what you ordered. Claims for damaged goods can not be accepted beyond this period.

All goods supplied by Find A Light carry a manufactures warranty. If an item has failed prematurely please contact us with details of the product and fault. Depending on the fault we may be able to send replacement parts as soon as possible.

  • REFUND

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments, excluding the costs of delivery, provided that the return goods are unused, the cable of the light has not been cut and the items are in their original packaging and box. If you cancel your order before despatch you will be refunded in full.


We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied. If there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We do advise you use an insured signed for service when returning your goods to us.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back and/or you have supplied signed proof that the goods were received back by Find A Light.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

8. CANCELLATION BY US

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if, for example:

  • We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
  • Our merchant bank fraud department flag transaction as suspicious.
  • We do not deliver to your area.
  • One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail/text and will credit your account any sum deducted by us not later than 14 days from the day cancellation was made.

9. TITLE AND RISK

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you and we have received clear funds in full payment for the goods. Once goods have been delivered to you or a person nominated by you they will be held at your own risk and you will be responsible for them.

10. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

We will have no liability to you for any delay in delivering goods you have ordered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, flood, storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunications networks, inability to use transport networks, acts of God, terrorist attack, war, civil commotion, riots, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, acts or restraints of Government, and imposition of restrictions on imports or exports).
