  1. General.

Welcome to Findalight.com. This site is operated by Findalight.com. The goods you purchase will be supplied by findalight.com ("We/Us"). These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. Please review these terms carefully as they outline our identity, how we deliver products to you, how both parties can modify or terminate the contract, steps to take in case of issues, and other essential details.

We are registered in the CRO Company Registration Office in the Republic of Ireland under company number 650848 with our registered office at Unit 106C Lagan Road, Dublin Industrial Estate, Glasnevin, Dublin11 D11 TX99 which is our main trading address. Our VAT number is IE 5055921A.

We may also send text messages related to your order to your mobile number. Furthermore, we may communicate with you via email using the address provided in your email, contact form, or order confirmation, strictly for service-related purposes. As part of our commitment to improving our services, we may also invite you to leave feedback on Trustpilot after your order has been fulfilled. Please note that we will not send marketing materials.   1. Our Products.

Please note that while we strive for accuracy and make every effort to keep product pages up to date, it is impossible to be entirely precise. Colour tones may vary due to your computer's/smartphone’s screen settings, and images may look different on various devices. Additionally, supplier/manufacturer specifications and prices are subject to change at any time.

Many products also have rolling changes made through the course of their product life. Therefore, findalight.com does not warrant that product description or other content of this site is 100% accurate, complete, current or error-free. Our stock turnover is very high and we will normally send out the latest model unless it specifies otherwise in the product description.

Glass fittings may have variations in the glass due to the nature of the product, during the manufacturing process bubbles, tiny tooling marks, pattern variation, and colour variation can occur. This is not seen as an imperfection, they are characteristics of handmade glass, each piece is unique.

The information displayed on this site relating to availability is subject to change by us without notice. We cannot guarantee permanent or continuous availability of all products on this site.

  1. Payment Information.

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Stripe, Revolut, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, secured by 3D Secure 2.0 and 256 SSL encryption technology.

Billing Process: Payment is required upon order placement.

Currency: All prices and transactions are in Euros (€).

Taxes and Duties: All applicable taxes are included in the product prices. As we are a company based in Ireland, there are no additional customs charges for orders placed within Ireland and other EU countries.

Occasionally, errors may occur, and goods may be incorrectly priced. In such circumstances, we are not obligated to supply the goods at the incorrect price or at all.
We will, at our discretion, either cancel your order and refund the amount you have paid, or make reasonable efforts to contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. If we are unable to contact you or if you do not wish to proceed at the correct price, we will cancel your order and refund the amount paid.

  1. Ordering.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our catalogue and click on any items you wish to buy to add them to your shopping cart. At the checkout, you will be prompted to provide the details necessary for us to fulfil your order. You will have the option to register as a customer with us, which allows you to access your order history and manage your account. Alternatively, you can continue as a guest without registration.

After you have finished the check-out process, you will receive an email and text message from us acknowledging that we have received your order. If the email does not arrive in your mailbox, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find it there, please contact us via phone, as it is possible that an incorrect email was provided during checkout; however, please note that this acknowledgement does not signify acceptance of your order.

You should read and check the details in the confirmation e-mail to ensure that all products and delivery details are correct. If the details in the email confirming your order are not correct, or if you are not satisfied with the details, please contact us via email or phone.

Our acceptance of your order which forms a contract between us, occurs once we have checked and processed the order, including verification of payment and stock availability. You have the right to cancel your order before our acceptance, subject to our cancellation policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

  1. Handling and Processing.

Orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days. Processing times may vary depending on product availability and order volume. Once processed, you will receive an email informing you of the estimated lead time. For more details, please see the "Delivery Timeframes" section below.

  1. Delivery Timeframes.

Our offices and warehouse are based in Glasnevin Dublin. While we stock many items in our Dublin-based warehouse, we might need to order some products from our suppliers throughout Europe.

Orders for products we have in stock are typically processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days.

For products we dont have in stock which need to be ordered from our suppliers, might take up to 11 business days for dispatch. If during the order processing we anticipate a longer dispatch timeframe, we will promptly contact you to discuss. If you are not satisfied with the proposed timeframe, you have the right to cancel or change your order.

Findalight.com are not liable for any electricians costs due to pre-booked electricians. We recommend waiting to schedule an electrician until you have received and checked your goods in full.

  1. Shipping Information and Restrictions.

For orders within Ireland*: We charge a flat rate of €9.50 for orders below €150, free delivery service for orders over €150.

For orders within other EU countries*: We charge a flat rate of €25 for shipping to EU countries during the order process. (This rate may change. If this happens, we may contact you to cover the remaining balance.)

*For orders weighing over 30kg, measuring more than 1.5 meters long, or if it is a bulk order, additional delivery charges may apply. We will contact you to discuss this further if necessary.

We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you provided during your purchase on this website. It is your responsibility to ensure that the address provided is accurate and complete, including the Eircode, we cannot be held liable for delays or delivery issues arising from incorrect or incomplete address information.
Our courier partner is DPD, who will send you an email or text message prior to delivery with detailed tracking information and delivery options. In the event that you are not available on the delivery date, it is your responstability to make alternative arrangement with DPD by following the link on their confirmation email/text.
In the unlikely scenario where goods are returned to us by DPD because customer was not available to accept delivery or make further arrangements with DPD, a re-delivery charge will be applied. We will contact you to discuss this prior to dispatching your goods. If an agreement cannot be made and your order is cancelled, a standard delivery charge of €9.50 will be deducted from any refunds.

Some orders may have items from different locations. We will hold all orders until fully completed before shipping in one delivery. At customers request, we can split orders and do multiple shipments, however, extra delivery charges will be applied. We will advise of the extra delivery charges before shipping.

We may not deliver to certain EU countries due to courier restrictions. We don’t deliver outside the European Union.

  1. Rights to ends the contract.

Your rights when you end the contract will depend on what you have bought, whether there is anything wrong with it and when you decide to end the contract:

Customer right to change mind:

Under consumer law, for most products bought online with us you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days of receiving your item/s to receive a refund. This is subject to our return policy which are explained in more details here. Please note: personalized and bespoke made to order products cannot be returned. Delivery costs when applied are non-refundable.

Faults under manufacture guarantee:

All goods supplied by Findalight.com come with a manufacturer's guarantee. If an item fails prematurely, please contact us with details of the product and the fault. Depending on the issue, we may be able to send replacement parts promptly. Otherwise, you may be asked to send such products to our place of business for testing to determine the reason for their fault. Depending on the fault, we might repair or replace the defective products. If no faults are found and the product functions as it should according to the manufacturer's specifications, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item/s to you or arranging collection by your own courier. Broken glasses or missing components are not classified as faults.

Shortages or Damaged Items:

Please check your goods within 48 hours of their arrival to ensure there are no breakages and that the product matches your order. We understand that at times, the end user may not take in the delivery and have a third party receive instead. In this case, it is your responsibility to ensure the goods are checked on your behalf for any damages or missing items.
Any damages or shortages must be reported via email or phone within this 48-hour period; claims made beyond this timeframe cannot be accepted. For any damaged product reported within 48 hours, in the event any replacment parts are not available a full replacment will be issued.

Cancellation by Us:

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us under circumstances such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
  • The transaction is flagged as suspicious by our merchant bank's fraud department.
  • We do not deliver to your area.
  • One or more of the goods you ordered were listed at an incorrect price.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by phone, e-mail or text message and will credit your account any sum deducted by us not later than 14 days from the day cancellation was made.

  1. Refunds.

Refund Process:

Refunds are typically processed within 1-3 business days to the original payment method and no later than 14 business days. Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method as the initial transaction. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank's processing times, which can range from 1 to 14 business days.

Deductions:

If your order was subject to a delivery charge – Delivery costs are non-refundable.

  1. Events Beyond Our Control.

We will have no liability to you for any delay in delivering goods you have ordered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, flood, storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunications networks, inability to use transport networks, acts of God, terrorist attack, war, civil commotion, riots, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, acts or restraints of Government, and imposition of restrictions on imports or exports).
