Return Eligibility Timeframe

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your item/s to initiate a return request.
  • Once the return request is approved, the item/s must be returned to us within 14 days. Returns outside this time frame cannot be accepted.

Return Procedure

  1. Complete the Return Form: Please complete the return form below to start the return process. Returns sent without a completed form and approval from Find A Light will be rejected.
  2. Receive Instructions: We will respond to your enquiry via email within one business day, providing detailed instructions on how to return your item/s.
  3. Ship the Item: Please follow the instructions from the email to ship the item/s back to us.
  4. Product Inspection: We will inspect and process your return promptly once we receive the item/s.

Conditions for Return

Eligible Items

To qualify for a refund, items must be returned in their original packaging in resalable condition, including all plastic coverings, protective foam, instruction manuals, and labels. Failure to send goods back in full will result in items being rejected and will not be credited/refunded. The items must not have been used, installed, or modified in any way. For products with fabric shades, if the protective covering has been removed from the shades, the product cannot be returned as per our return policy.  Goods received back with writing, brown/masking tape, postage or returns stickers or any unrepairable damages on the original product boxes will be considered as not resalable and will not be accepted as a return.

Packaging and Shipping Instructions

  • Original Packaging: Place items back in their original product box. If needed, use minimal clear tape to seal the box. Do not write on or attach labels to the original product box.
  • Outer Packaging: Find A Light is not responsible for any damages that may occur during transit. To safeguard the product and original product packaging, please place it within an outer carton or box. We recommend using additional packaging materials, such as bubble wrap or extra foam, to ensure the product is not damaged during transit. If an outer box is unavailable, wrap the product box in bubble wrap or other protective materials.
  • Returns are accepted via AnPost or a courier service only. We do not accept personal callers to our premises.

Important Notes

  • In the event of any items being rejected, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the items back to you or arranging collection by your own courier.
  • We highly recommend using a signed-for service to have proof of delivery or to trace the parcel if needed. In the event of a lost delivery, it is the customer as the sender's responsibility to trace the parcel with the courier/post office.
  • Any damages or shortages must be reported via email or phone within 48 hours of delivery. Claims for damages or shortages made beyond this period cannot be accepted.
  • Refunds are processed immediately after returns are received, checked and accepted.

Exceptions

  • Personalized and bespoke made to order products cannot be returned.
  • Delivery costs are non-refundable.
