What's the difference between flush and semi-flush?

A flush fitting mounts directly against the ceiling with no gap, which gives the most clearance and the cleanest look. A semi-flush drops a short distance on a small stem, so it stands slightly proud of the ceiling for a bit more presence while still keeping plenty of headroom.

Are they good for low ceilings?

Yes, that's exactly where they come into their own. A crystal chandelier needs headroom to hang, but a crystal flush or semi-flush gives you the same sparkle in a room with a standard or low ceiling. They're a popular choice for bedrooms, hallways and landings where space above head height is tight.

Are LED crystal flush lights available?
