Rattan - Shade Only - 31 cm Warm Brown Rattan Shade

Handcrafted from woven rattan around a steel frame, this lampshade combines natural fibre texture with a structured tapered shape. The dark rattan finish has warm brown colouring, while the visible woven strands give the surface depth and character.

The shade narrows towards the top, measuring 10 cm across the upper opening and widening to 31 cm at the bottom. Its 16 cm height creates a relatively low, broad profile that suits a variety of lamp bases and ceiling arrangements.

This is a handmade fitting. Small tooling marks and slight variation in pattern or finish are natural results of the manufacturing process, not faults.

The Endon Rattan 120275 is a decorative shade designed for use with a single light source. Its open weave allows light to pass both through the woven structure and through the wider opening underneath.

When illuminated, the spaces between the rattan strands can create subtle light and shadow patterns on nearby surfaces. The overall effect depends on the bulb selected, its brightness and the position of the shade.

A fixed gimbal fitting is designed for compatibility with E14, B22 and E27 lampholders. Check the existing lampholder and shade attachment before purchasing to ensure a suitable fit.

The shade is suitable for use with compatible LED lighting. The brightness, colour temperature and any dimming controls depend on the separate bulb and lamp or pendant fitting.

This product is supplied as a lampshade only. A light bulb, lamp base and pendant suspension are not included.

With an IP20 rating, it is intended for dry indoor environments rather than outdoor locations or areas exposed to moisture.

Can this rattan shade be used on a table lamp or pendant light?

Yes, it is designed for use with compatible table lamps and pendant fittings. The shade features a fixed gimbal attachment and is described as suitable for E14, B22 and E27 lampholders. Check the fitting arrangement and available clearance before ordering, as compatibility depends on the existing light.

Does the Endon Rattan 120275 include a bulb or light fitting?

No. This product is supplied as a decorative lampshade only. The light bulb, table lamp base or pendant suspension must be provided separately. It is intended for use with a compatible existing light fitting rather than as a complete standalone light.

What are the dimensions of this lampshade?

The shade measures 16 cm high, with a bottom diameter of 31 cm and a top diameter of 10 cm. Its tapered shape is wider at the base and narrower at the top. These measurements are useful when checking proportions against an existing lamp base or pendant arrangement.

Will light pass through the woven rattan?

Yes. The open woven construction allows light to pass between the rattan strands as well as through the lower opening. Depending on the bulb and placement, this can produce decorative patterns of light and shadow. It is not designed to provide the same diffusion as a fully lined fabric shade.

Is this lampshade suitable for a bathroom or outdoor area?

No. The shade has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor locations. It is better suited to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where it will not be exposed to splashes, excessive moisture or outdoor weather conditions.
