Downlighters are a space-saving lighting solution which provides a right level of brightness. A downlight is a light fitting (luminaire) that lights in a downward direction, illuminating the area below. They are usually recessed into the ceiling displaying only a small part of the fitting below the ceiling, keeping the ceiling clear of hanging obstacles, available in fixed or adjustable versions. Downlighters are a perfect option for people who want to save as much space as possible and optically enlarge the illuminated area.
How many downlighters will I need for my room?
A general rule of thumb is around one downlight per 1.4m2 of coverage for average ceiling height; this will provide an adequate cover of light.
Are downlights expensive to run?

Are downlighters only available as individual lights?
We supply downlighters as an individual, twin, and triples. As indicated individual meaning one downlighter, twin meaning two downlighters on the one fitting, and triple meaning three downlights on a rectangular fitting.
