Evie - Gold 5 Light Semi Flush with Twisted Glass

The Evie combines a gold-finished frame with five rounded shades made from clear twisted glass. Each shade features a decorative swirling pattern that creates a textured appearance while retaining the transparency of the glass.

Curved arms extend from the central ceiling fitting, positioning the glass shades at different points around the structure. Small gold-finished holders complement the arms and provide a consistent finish throughout the design.

The combination of flowing lines, rounded glass and warm gold colouring suits contemporary and modern classic interiors. With a diameter of 54 cm, the fitting has a noticeable decorative presence, while its 19 cm height keeps the overall profile relatively compact.

The Searchlight Evie uses five replaceable G9 LED bulbs, each with a maximum permitted wattage of 3.5W LED. The bulbs are not included, so they can be selected separately to suit the desired lighting effect.

The five light sources are positioned around the fitting rather than concentrated in a single central location. Clear twisted glass allows light to pass through while its decorative pattern can create subtle variations in the appearance of the illumination.

Compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

The fitting operates through the mains lighting circuit and is intended for indoor use in dry areas. Its semi-flush construction provides decorative multi-point lighting without the extended drop of a suspended pendant.

Actual brightness and light colour depend on the G9 LED bulbs selected.

• Living rooms requiring decorative ceiling lighting with multiple light sources.
• Bedrooms where a gold and clear glass fitting complements the interior décor.
• Dining rooms where a semi-flush ceiling light is preferred over a hanging pendant.
• Hallways and entrance areas with sufficient ceiling space for a 54 cm diameter fitting.
• Rooms with lower or standard ceiling heights where a long suspension is unsuitable.
• Contemporary interiors featuring curved shapes, glass details and warm metallic finishes.
• Modern classic interiors combining decorative lighting with relatively compact ceiling fittings.

• A five-light arrangement provides illumination from several positions around the ceiling fitting.
• Clear twisted glass shades add decorative texture and allow light to pass through.
• Gold finish complements warm interior colours and other gold-toned accessories.
• Semi-flush construction offers a decorative alternative to a suspended chandelier.
• 19 cm overall height helps reduce the amount of vertical ceiling space occupied.
• Five replaceable G9 LED bulbs make it possible to select the preferred brightness and colour temperature.
• Maximum 3.5W LED per bulb provides a clear wattage limit when purchasing replacement lamps.
• Compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch for adjustable brightness.
• IP20 rating makes the fitting suitable for appropriate dry indoor environments.

• The combination of curved gold arms and patterned glass makes the ceiling light a decorative feature even when switched off.
• Its 54 cm diameter provides visual presence without requiring a long hanging suspension.
• Five separate light sources offer broader positioning of illumination than a single-bulb ceiling fitting.
• Replaceable LED lamps provide flexibility when choosing light output and replacing bulbs in the future.
• The gold and clear glass combination works with several interior colour schemes, making it suitable for different rooms throughout the home.

Are the bulbs included with the Searchlight Evie EVI-5GO?

No. The Evie requires five G9 LED bulbs, which must be purchased separately. Each bulb must not exceed 3.5W LED. Choosing the bulbs separately allows you to select a suitable brightness and colour temperature for your room.

Can the Evie five-light ceiling fitting be dimmed?

Yes. It is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs should not be used for dimming.

Is this ceiling light suitable for rooms with lower ceilings?

The Evie has a semi-flush design and measures 19 cm in height, making it a useful alternative to a long hanging pendant. Its 54 cm diameter should also be considered when planning the position of the fitting. Check the available ceiling clearance before installation.

Can the Searchlight Evie be installed in a bathroom?

The Evie has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor areas. It does not have a moisture-protection rating suitable for locations exposed to splashes or significant condensation. For bathrooms and other damp environments, choose a fitting with an appropriate IP rating for the installation location.

What lighting effect do the twisted glass shades create?

The five clear glass shades feature a visible swirling pattern that adds texture to the fitting. Light passes through the glass, while the twisted detailing can produce decorative variations in the way the illuminated shades appear. The overall brightness and colour depend on the G9 LED bulbs installed.
