Evie - Satin Silver 3 Light Semi Flush with Twisted Glass

Evie features a satin silver frame with three gracefully curved arms arranged around a circular ceiling plate. Each arm supports a rounded clear glass shade with a distinctive twisted pattern that adds texture and visual interest.

The sculpted glass creates decorative highlights as light passes through its curved surface. Its transparent appearance also helps maintain an open, airy look rather than the heavier appearance of fully opaque shades.

The combination of smooth satin silver and patterned glass works particularly well with contemporary, modern classic and softly decorative interiors. With its three shades positioned across the fitting, Evie has an interesting shape when viewed from different angles.

The Evie semi-flush ceiling light uses three replaceable G9 LED bulbs, each with a maximum wattage of 3.5W. Bulbs are not included, so they can be selected separately according to the preferred brightness and colour temperature.

With three light sources distributed around the fitting, Evie provides illumination from several positions rather than a single central point. The clear twisted glass shades allow light to pass through while their textured surfaces create decorative reflections and highlights.

Warm white G9 LED bulbs can help create a softer, more relaxing atmosphere in bedrooms and living rooms, while a neutral white option may suit areas where a clearer, more functional light is preferred.

The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Evie is mains-operated and designed for fixed ceiling installation. Its 19 cm height makes it a practical option for rooms where a longer suspended light would extend too far below the ceiling.

• Living rooms where a decorative ceiling light is wanted without a long suspension.
• Bedrooms requiring a compact fitting with attractive glass detailing.
• Dining rooms where a three-light design can complement other interior lighting.
• Hallways and entrance areas with sufficient ceiling space for its 54 cm diameter.
• Rooms with standard or moderately low ceilings where a semi-flush fitting is preferable to a pendant.
• Contemporary and modern classic interiors featuring silver, glass or neutral finishes.
• Dry indoor spaces requiring a mains-operated IP20 ceiling light.

• Three-light arrangement: Three separate G9 lampholders distribute illumination from different positions around the ceiling fitting.
• Clear twisted glass shades: Decorative glass detailing creates highlights and reflections while allowing light to pass through.
• Satin silver finish: A soft metallic appearance that coordinates with a variety of contemporary interior colour schemes.
• Semi-flush construction: A 19 cm overall height keeps the fitting relatively close to the ceiling.
• 54 cm diameter: Provides a decorative presence without requiring the vertical space of a suspended chandelier.
• Replaceable G9 LED bulbs: Allows individual bulbs to be replaced without changing the complete fitting.
• Choice of light colour: Bulbs can be selected to provide warm white or neutral white illumination.
• Dimming compatibility: Suitable dimmable G9 bulbs and a matching dimmer switch can provide adjustable brightness.
• Mains-operated design: Intended for permanent connection to the household lighting circuit.
• IP20 rating: Designed for general dry indoor locations.

• Combines decorative twisted glass with a satin silver finish for an elegant ceiling light that suits several interior styles.
• Offers the visual interest of a three-arm fitting without the extended drop associated with many chandeliers.
• Uses replaceable LED bulbs, making it possible to choose the preferred light colour and replace individual lamps when needed.
• Its three separate glass shades add detail to the ceiling while providing multiple points of illumination.
• Suitable for a range of everyday living spaces, including bedrooms, lounges, dining rooms and hallways.

Are bulbs included with the Searchlight Evie EVI-3SS?

No. The fitting requires three G9 LED bulbs, which must be purchased separately. Each bulb must not exceed 3.5W LED. Choosing the bulbs separately allows you to select a suitable brightness and colour temperature for your room.

Can the Evie ceiling light be dimmed?

Yes. The Evie is compatible with dimmable G9 LED bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs should not be used for dimming.

Is this ceiling light suitable for rooms with lower ceilings?

Evie has a semi-flush design with a height of 19 cm, making it more compact vertically than many suspended ceiling lights. Its diameter is 54 cm, so it is also important to consider the available ceiling space and the position of the fitting within the room.

Can the Searchlight Evie be installed in a bathroom?

Evie has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor areas. It is not designed for locations exposed to water splashes or significant moisture. For bathrooms, choose a fitting with an appropriate IP rating for the intended installation zone.

How is the Evie ceiling light switched on and off?

Evie is a mains-operated ceiling fitting designed to connect to the household lighting circuit. It is normally operated using the room's wall switch. As a Class I fitting, it requires a protective earth connection during installation.
