Dynamite - Satin Brass Spotlight

The Dynamite AP1 Square has a compact geometric design formed by a square mounting plate and a cylindrical adjustable spotlight head. Its plated and brushed brass finish introduces a warm metallic accent while retaining a simple, uncluttered appearance.

The fitting measures 5.7 cm wide and 5.7 cm high, with a total projection of 14.1 cm. These small proportions make it suitable for individual accent lighting or for installation in a coordinated group along a wall, hallway or ceiling.

A single adjustable diffuser allows the beam to be redirected towards the area that needs illumination. This makes the fitting useful for highlighting pictures, shelving, architectural details or practical task areas.

The spotlight uses one replaceable GU10 bulb. A 7W GU10 LED bulb with a warm white 3000K colour temperature is included. Future bulbs can therefore be replaced without changing the complete fitting.

As a mains-wired fitting with a replaceable GU10 bulb, it can be used with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a suitable wall dimmer. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. 

The IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor areas and does not provide suitable moisture protection for bathroom zones or outdoor locations.

Is a bulb included with the Ideal Lux Dynamite 371214?

Yes. The fitting is supplied with a replaceable 7W GU10 LED bulb producing warm white light at 3000K. The bulb can be replaced in the future without replacing the spotlight itself.

Can the spotlight be installed on either a wall or ceiling?

Yes. Its compact surface-mounted design can be installed on a wall or ceiling, depending on where directional lighting is required. Installation must be completed as a mains-wired fitting.

Can the direction of the light be adjusted?

Yes. The cylindrical spotlight head is adjustable, enabling the beam to be aimed towards pictures, shelves, work surfaces or other selected areas.

Can this spotlight be dimmed?

The fitting is compatible with dimmable GU10 bulbs when connected to a suitable dimmer switch. The bulb and dimmer must be compatible with each other. Dimming capability of the included bulb has not been confirmed.

Is the Dynamite spotlight suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor locations. It does not have the moisture protection required for bathroom zones, wet areas or outdoor installation.
