Dynamite - White Spotlight

The Dynamite AP1 Square has a compact geometric design with a square mounting base and a cylindrical adjustable spotlight head. Its white powder-coated finish gives the fitting a simple, understated appearance that blends easily with white ceilings and pale interior colour schemes.

The frame is made from metal, while the focused proportions help the fitting remain visually unobtrusive. With a base measuring 5.7 cm by 5.7 cm, it can be used individually for accent lighting or installed in multiples where several separately directed light sources are needed.

The adjustable diffuser allows the light direction to be changed after installation. This makes the fitting useful for highlighting pictures, shelving, architectural details or practical areas that need more focused illumination.

A replaceable 7W GU10 LED bulb is included. It produces 540 lumens of warm white 3000K light with a CRI of 90 and a focused 50-degree beam angle. The fitting can be used with a compatible dimmable GU10 bulb when connected to a suitable dimmer switch. The replacement bulb and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

The IP20 rating means the spotlight is intended for dry indoor areas. It is not suitable for outdoor installation or bathroom zones where protection from moisture is required.

Is a bulb included with the Ideal Lux Dynamite 371160?

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

The included LED bulb is non-dimmable. Dimming is possible after replacing it with a compatible dimmable GU10 bulb and using a suitable dimmer switch. The bulb and dimmer must be compatible with each other.

Can it be mounted on a ceiling?

Yes. The compact fitting can be installed on a wall or ceiling, allowing the adjustable head to direct light towards a chosen area. Installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

Is this spotlight suitable for a bathroom?

The fitting has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor areas. It should not be installed in bathroom zones or other locations where it may be exposed to water, condensation or excessive moisture.
