Balls - Clear Glass with Polished Chrome 3 Light over Island Fitting

A rectangular chrome bar forms the ceiling mount, with three flex suspensions dropping down to individual lamp holders. Each lamp is housed inside a round, clear glass ball roughly 20cm in diameter, giving the fitting its distinctive look. The glass is hand blown rather than machine pressed, so expect gentle variation in thickness and the occasional small bubble within the glass. This is a natural characteristic of the process and not a defect.

The frame and fittings are finished in polished chrome, which pairs well with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and contemporary worktops. The white thermoplastic lamp holders sit neatly inside each glass ball and are barely visible once a bulb is fitted.

The fitting takes three E27 GLS bulbs, each rated up to 40W, bulbs are not included. Because the lamp holders are visible through the clear glass, a decorative golf ball or pear shaped LED bulb tends to give the best appearance, rather than a standart GLS bulb.

The fitting is dimmable, but this depends on fitting dimmable bulbs and using a dimmer switch designed for LED loads. Height is adjustable at installation, from a minimum drop of 30cm up to a maximum of 150cm, by shortening the suspension flex to suit ceiling height and worktop position.

Are bulbs included?
No. The fitting takes three E27 bulbs, each rated up to 40W, which need to be purchased separately.

Is it dimmable?
Yes, provided you fit dimmable E27 bulbs and use a dimmer switch designed for LED loads.

Can the height be adjusted?
Yes. The suspension flex can be shortened at installation to set a drop anywhere between 30cm and 150cm.

Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
No. With an IP20 rating, this fitting is intended for dry indoor rooms only, such as kitchens, dining rooms and living spaces.

Is it compatible with LED bulbs?
Yes. Standard E27 LED bulbs, including golf ball or pear shaped LED bulbs, can be used in place of traditional bulbs.
