Hampton - Antique Brass 3 Light Semi Flush with Light Champagne Ribbed Glass

The Hampton features three evenly spaced arms extending from a central circular fitting, all finished in antique brass. Short vertical supports hold the glass shades below the arms, creating a balanced arrangement with a subtle vintage influence.

Each light champagne glass shade has a softly rounded cylindrical shape with fine vertical ribbing. The textured glass catches and refracts light, while the warm glass tint complements the muted golden tones of the antique brass finish.

Decorative metal rims frame the lower openings of the shades. The combination of ribbed glass, symmetrical arms and understated brass detailing works particularly well in classic, modern classic and Art Deco-inspired interiors.

The Hampton uses three replaceable G9 LED bulbs, each with a maximum permitted wattage of 3.5 W. Bulbs are not included, so the preferred brightness and colour temperature can be selected separately.

The three light sources are positioned around the central fitting rather than concentrated in one location. This arrangement helps distribute illumination across the surrounding area. The light champagne ribbed glass softens the appearance of the bulbs and creates a decorative lighting effect, although the final brightness depends on the bulbs selected.

The fitting is mains-operated and controlled through a wall switch. It is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

With an overall height of 22 cm, the semi-flush construction keeps the fitting relatively close to the ceiling while retaining the appearance of a traditional three-arm ceiling light.

What bulbs does the Searchlight Hampton HAM-3L require?

The Hampton requires three G9 LED bulbs, each rated at no more than 3.5W. Bulbs are not supplied with the fitting and must be purchased separately. You can choose the colour temperature and brightness to suit your room, while staying within the specified wattage limit.

Can the Hampton three light ceiling fitting be dimmed?

Yes. The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs should not be used with a dimming control.

Is the Hampton suitable for rooms with lower ceilings?

The Hampton has a semi-flush design measuring 22 cm in height, making it more compact than a traditional suspended chandelier. Its 46 cm diameter provides a decorative presence without an extended drop. Check the available headroom and the fitting's position before installation.

Can this ceiling light be installed in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. The Hampton has an IP20 rating and is intended for suitable dry indoor areas. It is not designed for outdoor exposure or locations requiring protection against moisture or water splashes. Living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and dry hallways are more appropriate applications.

Does the light champagne ribbed glass affect the lighting?

The light champagne glass adds a warm tint to the appearance of the illuminated shades, while the vertical ribbing refracts and softens the visible light. The actual brightness and colour temperature will depend on the G9 LED bulbs selected, so the glass should be considered when choosing bulbs.
