Royal - Antique Brass Wall Lamp with Clear Ribbed Glass

The Royal wall light combines an antique brass finish with a clear ribbed glass shade, bringing together traditional detailing and a clean cylindrical shape. The warm brass colouring complements the textured glass, making the fitting suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.

Constructed from metal and glass, the design features a wall-mounted backplate and a projecting arm supporting the cylindrical shade. The vertical ribbing adds visual texture and softens the appearance of the exposed light source without concealing it completely.

Its decorative design works particularly well when installed as a matching pair, while a single fitting can provide a subtle feature on a smaller wall.

The Searchlight Royal 82431AB uses one replaceable E27 screw-cap bulb, which must be purchased separately. The manufacturer specifies a GLS LED bulb, making this a suitable bulb shape to select for the fitting.

Clear ribbed glass allows light to pass through the shade while its textured surface helps soften and spread the visible illumination. With a single light source, the fitting can provide useful supplementary lighting alongside ceiling lights or other room lighting.

LED compatibility allows the brightness and colour temperature to be selected according to the bulb fitted. A warm white LED can help create a comfortable atmosphere in bedrooms and living spaces, while a brighter lamp may be preferable where additional practical illumination is needed.

The wall light is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

As a mains-wired wall fitting, the Royal is intended for fixed installation in dry indoor areas. Its IP20 rating means it is not designed for direct exposure to moisture or water splashes.
