Toluca - Black Wall Lamp with Clear Detailing

The Toluca features a clean cylindrical body in a black finish, complemented by clear polycarbonate detailing near the upper section. Its simple shape and restrained appearance make it suitable for modern houses, contemporary outdoor spaces and properties with minimalist architectural details.

Constructed from ABS and polycarbonate, the fitting avoids the appearance of traditional lantern-style outdoor lighting. The clear section provides an opening for light to pass through, while the cylindrical housing gives the wall light a defined, structured appearance.

With a height of 18.5 cm, width of 9 cm and projection of 15.5 cm, the Toluca offers a compact design that can be used individually or installed in matching arrangements along an exterior wall.

The Toluca outdoor wall light operates with one replaceable E27 GLS LED bulb, with a manufacturer-stated maximum of 15W. The bulb is not included, so the brightness and colour temperature can be selected according to the intended application.

The clear polycarbonate section allows light to pass through the upper part of the cylindrical fitting. This makes the Toluca suitable for providing localised illumination near entrances, beside doors or along exterior walls. Actual brightness and light distribution depend on the LED bulb installed.

The fitting is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Its IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water, making it suitable for appropriately positioned outdoor wall installations. The fitting is Class II double insulated and is designed for connection to a mains lighting circuit.

The replaceable bulb arrangement also means that a failed lamp can be changed without replacing the complete wall light.

What bulb does the Searchlight Toluca 39960BK use?

The Toluca requires one E27 GLS LED bulb, with a maximum stated wattage of 15W. The bulb is not included. A suitable E27 LED bulb lets you choose the colour temperature and brightness for your outdoor space. Check the bulb's physical dimensions to ensure it fits the cylindrical housing.

Is the Toluca outdoor wall light suitable for exposed outdoor walls?

The Toluca has an IP44 rating, which provides protection against splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for appropriately positioned exterior walls, entrances, patios and garden areas. It is not designed for submersion or conditions requiring a higher level of water protection.

Can the Toluca 39960BK be dimmed?

The fitting is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. Dimming is dependent on the chosen bulb and lighting controls rather than an integrated dimming function.

How far does the Toluca project from the wall?

The fitting projects 15.5 cm from the wall and measures 18.5 cm high by 9 cm wide. These dimensions are useful when positioning the light beside a doorway, on a narrow wall section or along a walkway where the available space needs to be considered.

Does the Toluca require an earth connection?

The Toluca is a Class II double-insulated fitting, so an earth connection to the light itself is not required. It is designed for fixed wall mounting and connection to a mains lighting circuit. Installation should follow the manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical regulations.
