Frosty - Bronze 4 Light Semi Flush with Decorative Frosted Glass

The Frosty ceiling light features a horizontal metal frame in a painted bronze finish, complemented by four spherical frosted glass shades. Its combination of straight lines and rounded forms creates a contemporary design with a subtle decorative character.

The glass globes are positioned along the length of the fitting, creating a balanced linear arrangement. Their frosted surfaces conceal the direct view of the bulbs and help diffuse the light for a softer visual effect.

At 72 cm long and 12 cm wide, the fitting has an elongated profile that works particularly well above rectangular furniture or in rooms where a longer ceiling light suits the layout. The bronze finish adds a warmer visual detail than conventional chrome or white ceiling fittings.

The Frosty uses four replaceable G9 LED bulbs, which are not included. Its four separate light sources are distributed along the horizontal frame, helping provide illumination across a wider area than a single central bulb.

Each bulb sits within a frosted glass globe. The glass diffuses the emitted light, reducing the direct visibility of the bulb and creating a more even appearance across the illuminated shades.

The choice of G9 LED bulbs determines the final brightness and colour temperature. Warm white bulbs can help create a relaxed setting in living and dining spaces, while suitable neutral white bulbs may be preferred for general kitchen lighting.

The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Its fixed semi-flush construction positions the fitting 30 cm below the ceiling. Unlike a suspended pendant, the height does not need to be adjusted during installation.

• Living rooms requiring a decorative ceiling light with four separate light sources.
• Dining areas where the elongated fitting complements a rectangular table.
• Kitchens requiring general overhead lighting with a contemporary appearance.
• Bedrooms where frosted glass shades are preferred over exposed bulbs.
• Rooms where a hanging pendant would extend too far below the ceiling.
• Modern interiors featuring bronze, warm metallic or neutral decorative finishes.
• Residential or hospitality interiors requiring a compact semi-flush ceiling fitting.

• Four-light design - distributes illumination from multiple points along the fitting.
• Painted bronze finish - provides a warm metallic appearance that complements contemporary interiors.
• Frosted glass globe shades - diffuse the light and reduce the direct visibility of the bulbs.
• Semi-flush ceiling mounting - offers a lower-profile alternative to a suspended pendant.

• Its straightforward linear design can complement kitchens, dining areas, living rooms and other suitable dry indoor spaces.

Are the bulbs included with the Searchlight Frosty ceiling light?

No. The Frosty 33450-4BZ requires four G9 LED bulbs, which must be purchased separately. This allows you to select a suitable brightness and colour temperature for your room. Choose bulbs that are physically compatible with the glass shades and lampholders.

Can the Searchlight Frosty 4 light ceiling fitting be dimmed?

Yes. It is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Is this ceiling light suitable for rooms with lower ceilings?

The semi-flush design has a fixed overall height of 30 cm, so it does not hang as low as many suspended pendants. It can be considered for rooms where a longer suspension would be unsuitable, provided there is adequate headroom and clearance beneath the fitting.

Can the Frosty ceiling light be installed in a bathroom?

The Frosty has an IP20 rating and is intended for suitable dry indoor environments. It is not designed for locations exposed to water splashes or significant moisture. Bathroom installation should only be considered where the relevant electrical regulations and location requirements permit an IP20 fitting.

Can the height of the Frosty ceiling light be adjusted?

No. This is a fixed-height semi-flush ceiling fitting with an overall height of 30 cm. It does not use an adjustable suspension cable or chain. Check the available ceiling clearance before installation to ensure the fitting is suitable for the intended position.
