Frosty - Bronze 3 Light Semi Flush with Decorative Frosted Glass

The Frosty ceiling light features three spherical frosted glass shades arranged beneath a circular metal ceiling base. The painted bronze finish introduces a darker, warm-toned contrast against the pale glass, creating a simple but distinctive decorative appearance.

Each globe forms part of the overall design rather than being hidden inside a conventional ceiling diffuser. Their rounded shapes soften the appearance of the fitting, while the compact arrangement keeps the light visually balanced.

With a diameter of 30 cm and a height of 15 cm, the Frosty provides a decorative alternative to a flat ceiling light without the extended drop of a pendant. Its combination of clean lines, curved glass and bronze detailing works with modern, classic and modern-classic interiors.

The Frosty uses three replaceable G9 LED bulbs, positioned inside individual frosted glass globes. The glass helps diffuse the light and reduce the direct visibility of the bulbs, producing a softer appearance than exposed light sources.

With three separate lampholders, light is emitted from multiple points beneath the ceiling. This arrangement can provide useful general illumination in bedrooms, lounges and circulation areas, depending on the output of the selected bulbs and the size of the room.

The bulbs are not included, so brightness and colour temperature can be chosen to suit the intended space. Warm white LED bulbs are suitable for a softer residential lighting effect, while other available colour temperatures can be selected according to personal preference.

The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Its fixed flush-mounted construction requires no suspension adjustment. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor locations rather than areas exposed to water or excessive moisture.

Are the bulbs included with the Searchlight Frosty 33450-3BZ?

No. The fitting requires three G9 bulbs, which must be purchased separately. This gives you the flexibility to choose the brightness and colour temperature appropriate for your room. Suitable G9 LED bulbs can be used.

Can the Frosty three light ceiling fitting be dimmed?

Yes. The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs should not be used for dimming.

Is this ceiling light suitable for rooms with low ceilings?

Yes. Its flush-mounted construction and overall height of 15 cm make it a useful option where a hanging pendant would extend too far into the room. The fitting measures 30 cm across, so check that sufficient ceiling space is available for the three-globe arrangement.

Can the Searchlight Frosty 33450-3BZ be installed in a bathroom?

The fitting has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor locations. It is not designed for areas exposed to splashes or high moisture levels. Bedrooms, living rooms and hallways are more appropriate applications.

Can the glass shades or G9 bulbs be replaced?

The G9 bulbs are replaceable. The manufacturer's installation instructions show that the glass globes can be unscrewed to access the lamp holders. Always isolate the electrical supply and allow the bulbs to cool before handling the shades or replacing a bulb. Availability of replacement glass shades has not been confirmed.
