Alba - Antique Brass 11 Light over Island Fitting with Amber Glass

The Alba pendant combines an antique brass finish with champagne-coloured glass decoration, creating a warm, classic appearance. Its elongated horizontal arrangement makes it particularly well suited to rectangular dining tables and other long surfaces.

Decorative glass elements introduce texture and visual interest, while the brass-toned framework provides a contrasting metallic detail. The combination works especially well with traditional, modern classic and elegant contemporary interiors.

Measuring 98 cm in length and 39 cm in width, the fitting has a substantial presence without requiring the circular ceiling space associated with a conventional chandelier. Two chain suspensions connect the main body to the ceiling mounting plate, contributing to its traditional character.

The Alba uses eleven replaceable E14 bulbs positioned across its elongated structure. Multiple light sources help spread illumination along a dining table or kitchen island, making the arrangement practical for larger surfaces.

The manufacturer specifies 11 x E14 LED candle bulbs, which must be purchased separately. Choose bulbs with a suitable colour temperature and brightness for the intended room. Warm white LEDs can help create a comfortable dining atmosphere, while brighter bulbs may be preferable where more general illumination is needed.

Compatible with dimmable E14 LED candle bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

The chain suspension is height adjustable, with a maximum overall height of 150 cm. This allows the pendant to be positioned according to the ceiling height, table arrangement and required clearance.

With an IP20 rating, the fitting is intended for dry indoor environments rather than bathrooms, outdoor spaces or other areas exposed to moisture.

What bulbs does the Searchlight Alba 11 Light Pendant require?

The fitting requires eleven E14 LED candle bulbs, which are not included. You can select the colour temperature and brightness to suit the room. The recommended LED wattage is up to 8W per bulb, based on the published traditional bulb rating.

Can the Alba pendant be dimmed?

Yes. The pendant is compatible with dimmable E14 LED candle bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. This allows the lighting level to be adjusted for dining or general room illumination.

Is the hanging height adjustable?

Yes. The Alba has an adjustable chain suspension and a maximum overall height of 150 cm. Its fitting body measures 28 cm in height. The suspension can be shortened during installation to position the pendant at a suitable level above a dining table or kitchen island.

Is this pendant suitable for a kitchen island or long dining table?

Yes. Its 98 cm long, 39 cm wide design and eleven light sources make it suitable for lighting extended surfaces. The arrangement is particularly appropriate above rectangular dining tables and kitchen islands, provided there is sufficient space and ceiling clearance for the suspended fitting.

Can the Alba pendant be installed in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. The pendant has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor areas. It does not provide the moisture protection normally required for bathroom wet zones or outdoor installations. It is better suited to dining rooms, living spaces and dry kitchen areas.
