Kalique - Chrome Pendant with Copper & White Glass Ø 18 cm

The pendant has a rounded, organic profile formed from two layers of blown borosilicate glass. A transparent copper-coloured outer shade surrounds a satin inner diffuser, adding depth while keeping the bulb less visually prominent. The fitting is completed by a compact magnetic ceiling rose in a polished chrome finish and a PVC suspension cable.

This shade is hand blown, so it is genuinely handmade rather than machine pressed. Small bubbles, subtle tooling marks and slight variation in pattern or colour are natural results of the glass blowing process, not faults.

Kalique 3 uses one replaceable E27 bulb, allowing the brightness and colour temperature to be selected to suit the room. LED bulbs are compatible, and the bulb is purchased separately. The satin inner glass helps diffuse the light and reduces the direct view of the lamp, while the opening beneath the shade provides useful downward illumination.

The suspension can be shortened during installation, with an overall maximum drop of approximately 243.5 cm. This allows the pendant to be positioned closer to a table or counter, or suspended at a greater height in a taller space.

Compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Is the bulb included?

No. The pendant requires one E27 bulb, which must be purchased separately. An LED bulb can be selected in the brightness and colour temperature that best suits the intended room and use.

Is this pendant suitable for a bathroom?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor areas and does not provide suitable protection against moisture or splashing water. It is better suited to bedrooms, dining areas, kitchens, living rooms and hallways.

Can several Kalique pendants be installed together?

Yes. With a diameter of approximately 18 cm, the pendant is compact enough to be installed in a row above a kitchen island or long dining table. Each fitting requires its own suitable electrical connection and ceiling fixing arrangement.
