Kalique - Chrome Pendant with Amber & White Glass Ø 18 cm

The pendant has a double-layered borosilicate glass diffuser with a satin inner section and a transparent amber outer shade. Its elongated, softly rounded shape adds colour without appearing bulky, while the chromed metal ceiling rose provides a neat contrast above the glass. A PVC suspension cable completes the simple profile.

This shade is hand blown, so it is genuinely handmade rather than machine pressed. Small bubbles, subtle tooling marks and slight variation in pattern or colour are natural results of the glass blowing process, not faults.

The Kalique-2 contains one E27 lampholder and requires a bulb, which is purchased separately. Its replaceable bulb design lets you choose an LED bulb with the brightness and colour temperature appropriate for the intended space. Light passes through the satin inner diffuser and coloured outer glass, creating illumination around the shade while reducing the direct view of the light source.

The suspension height is set during installation and can be adjusted from approximately 60 cm to just under 239.5 cm. This range allows the pendant to be positioned above a bedside table, counter or dining surface, or suspended at a longer drop in a stairwell or room with a higher ceiling.

Compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs, when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Can the suspension height be adjusted?

Yes. The overall height can be set between 600 mm and 2395 mm during installation. The required drop should be selected before the electrician completes the fitting.

Is this pendant suitable for a bathroom or outdoor area?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor rooms. It should not be installed where it may be exposed to moisture, splashing water or outdoor weather conditions.

Can several Kalique pendants be installed together?

Yes. At 18 cm in diameter, the pendant can be repeated above a kitchen island, dining counter or along a hallway. Each pendant requires its own suitable ceiling connection unless a separate compatible multi-light canopy is specified.
