Kalique - Chrome Pendant with Blue & White Glass Ø 18 cm

The diffuser is formed from two layers of borosilicate glass. A satin inner element surrounds the bulb, while the transparent pale blue outer glass creates the pendant's softly coloured decorative profile. Above the shade is a compact magnetic ceiling canopy in a chrome finish, connected by a PVC suspension cable.

This shade is hand blown, so it is genuinely handmade rather than machine pressed. Small bubbles, subtle tooling marks and slight variation in pattern or colour are natural results of the glass blowing process, not faults.

One E27 bulb sits within the satin inner diffuser, which helps spread the light and reduces the direct view of the lamp. The surrounding transparent blue glass adds colour while retaining the layered appearance of the shade.

The bulb is not included. Ideal Lux specifies a maximum of 42W and recommends an E27 GLS LED bulb. The chosen bulb determines the brightness and colour temperature, so warm white can be used for relaxed living and dining spaces, while a neutral white bulb provides a clearer general light.

The manufacturer classifies this pendant as non-dimmable. Its suspension height can be adjusted during installation from approximately 56.5 cm to 236.5 cm.

Is the bulb included?

No. The pendant requires one E27 bulb, purchased separately. 

Can this pendant be dimmed?

No. The manufacturer's current technical datasheet classifies the Kalique-1 359960 as non-dimmable.

Can the suspension height be adjusted?

Yes. The overall height can be set during installation between 565 mm and 2365 mm, making the pendant suitable for a variety of ceiling heights and furniture positions.

Is it suitable for a bathroom or outdoor area?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor locations. It should not be installed outdoors or in bathroom zones where protection from moisture is required.

Can several pendants be installed together?

Yes. At 18 cm in diameter, the pendant can be repeated in a row or clustered arrangement above a kitchen island, dining surface or stairwell, provided each fitting has a suitable ceiling connection.
