Kindos - Warm Brass USB Rechargeable Picture Light

The Kindos combines a warm brass-plated finish with a frosted polycarbonate diffuser. Its steel construction includes a curved arm that extends from the wall plate towards the adjustable lighting head, creating the familiar proportions of a traditional picture light with the convenience of rechargeable operation.

The fitting measures 33.6 cm wide and 10.4 cm high. Projection can be adjusted between 19.5 cm and 24.5 cm, helping the light sit appropriately above pictures and decorative displays of different depths. The frosted diffuser softens the appearance of the integrated LED source.

An integrated 2W SMD LED produces up to 200 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. The adjustable head allows the light to be directed towards the artwork or display below rather than relying on general room lighting.

A touch-operated three-stage dimmer provides approximately 27, 90 or 200 lumens, making it possible to select a lower accent level or use the full output when greater illumination is required. The rechargeable 3.7V 2200mAh battery removes the need for mains wiring at the fitting. A full charge takes up to 9 hours, with operating time of up to 60 hours depending on the selected brightness level.

A USB-C to USB-A charging cable is supplied. The integrated LED is built into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to purchase or replace during installation.

Does the Endon Kindos 124635 need mains wiring?

No. The Kindos is powered by a rechargeable battery, so the fitting itself does not need to be connected to the mains electrical supply. It is mounted to the wall and recharged using the supplied USB-C to USB-A charging cable.

Can the brightness be adjusted?

Yes. A touch-operated three-stage dimmer provides output levels of approximately 27, 90 and 200 lumens. This allows the light level to be adjusted to suit the artwork, room conditions or desired accent lighting effect.

How long does the battery last?

The rechargeable battery can provide up to 60 hours of light, depending on the brightness level selected. A full charge takes up to 9 hours, so actual operating time will vary according to how the picture light is used.

Does this picture light need a separate bulb?

No. A 2W SMD integrated LED is built into the fitting and produces up to 200 lumens at a warm white 3000K colour temperature. There is no separate replaceable bulb to purchase for normal operation.

Can the Kindos be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor areas and does not provide the moisture protection normally required for bathrooms or outdoor locations. It is better suited to living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and similar dry interiors.
