Fade - Black Pendant with White Globe & Ombre Amber Glass

The outer shade is made from clear blown glass with an amber galvanic colour gradient. Its rounded, gently tapered shape measures approximately 27 cm in diameter and 21 cm high.

A smaller diffuser made from white acid-etched blown glass sits inside the coloured shade. This layered construction creates a contrast between the translucent amber exterior and the softly opaque centre. The pendant is completed by a metal ceiling rose and frame with a black PVC suspension cable.

The Fade SP1 uses one replaceable G9 bulb. A warm white LED bulb is included, providing 370 lumens at a colour temperature of 3000K. The acid-etched inner diffuser conceals the bulb and softens its brightness, while the surrounding amber glass adds decorative colour without leaving the light source directly exposed.

The suspension height can be adjusted during installation from approximately 46 cm to 221 cm. This flexibility helps position the pendant at a practical level above a table, worktop or open area.

The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Is a bulb included with the pendant?

Yes. The current specification includes one 3W G9 LED bulb producing 370 lumens at a warm white colour temperature of 3000K. As the bulb is replaceable, it can be changed when it reaches the end of its service life.

Can the height be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension can be adjusted during installation from approximately 46 cm to 221 cm. The required height should be set before the electrician completes the installation, taking the table, worktop or walking clearance below into account.

Can this pendant be dimmed?

The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when connected to a suitable dimmer switch. Dimmability of the included bulb is not confirmed, so it may need to be replaced with a dimmable G9 LED bulb. The bulb and dimmer must be compatible.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor areas and does not provide protection against water. Choose a fitting with an IP rating appropriate to the relevant bathroom zone instead.

Does the amber glass make the light very dark?

The bulb sits inside a white acid-etched diffuser, which spreads and softens the light. The amber outer shade adds visible colour and may warm the overall appearance, but the included bulb still provides a verified output of 370 lumens.
