The spotlights in the TAURUS range offer a wide range of applications and skilfully set the scene in living spaces. The spotlights can be installed as recessed or surface-mounted luminaires as required and consist of two light sources, a main light and an outer light ring, which can be switched separately. When used as a recessed light, a ceiling cut-out of 170 mm is required. Whether in the hallway, living room or bedroom, the modern luminaire ensures optimum lighting conditions and individual lighting accents. The spotlight can also be swivelled and individually aligned. The simple matt white colour scheme makes it easy to integrate into existing colour concepts. In addition, the luminaire features modern LED technology, which is characterised by high light quality and energy efficiency.

Understanding LED colour temperature and the Kelvin scale

Colour temperature 3100K to 4500K, the light produced is often referred to as a "neutral white", "bright white" or "natural white". Light sources within this range will emit a more neutral white light and may even have a slightly blue tint. This kind of light is bright, vibrant and clean appearing.

Colour temperature 4600K and above, the light produced is often referred to as a "cool white", "pure white" or "day white". Light sources in this range will have a blue-ish white tint to them. The higher the number, the more blueish it will appear. This kind of light will appear crisp, invigorating and energetic.
