The MARRIOT wall light with reading arm impresses with its attractive design and convenient and flexible use. The swivelling reading arm enables the light beam to be targeted and can be adjusted accordingly. Both light sources can be switched on and off separately using integrated switches. Ideally, the MARRIOT should be placed next to the bed in the bedroom, as the combination of the soft light from the fabric shade and the flexible reading arm makes the luminaire ideal as a bedside and reading light. The MARRIOT is also equipped with the FLEXconnect feature so that it can be attached to the wall in any position thanks to the integrated cable outlet, and connected via a mains cable or is suitable for a fixed connection without a supply cable. The combination of matt nickel and white has a discreet and timeless effect, meaning that the wall light can be easily integrated into existing colour schemes. The luminaire also features modern LED technology, which is characterised by high light quality and energy efficiency. Compared to conventional halogen light sources, up to 80% of energy costs can be saved. For energy-saving lighting, the use of an LED light source is also recommended for the lamp holder.

Understanding LED colour temperature and the Kelvin scale

Colour temperature 3100K to 4500K, the light produced is often referred to as a "neutral white", "bright white" or "natural white". Light sources within this range will emit a more neutral white light and may even have a slightly blue tint. This kind of light is bright, vibrant and clean appearing.

Colour temperature 4600K and above, the light produced is often referred to as a "cool white", "pure white" or "day white". Light sources in this range will have a blue-ish white tint to them. The higher the number, the more blueish it will appear. This kind of light will appear crisp, invigorating and energetic.
