Maya - Brass 4 Light Pendant with Decorative Glass Panels

The Maya pendant features a circular brass-finished frame surrounded by vertical decorative glass panels. Clear, amber and smoked glass sections alternate around the fitting, creating a layered appearance with contrasting tones and textures.

The glass panels extend above and below the circular frame, giving the pendant a distinctive architectural shape. Some panels feature a rippled or textured surface, while others display fine vertical detailing. The combination produces a varied appearance when viewed from different angles.

Two horizontal brass-finished rings hold the glass arrangement together, with small visible fixing details adding definition. A matching chain and round ceiling canopy complete the suspended design.

The Searchlight Maya uses four replaceable light bulbs, with a stated maximum of 10W LED per bulb. Bulbs are not supplied, so they can be selected separately to suit the required brightness and colour temperature.

Positioned within the circular glass arrangement, the four light sources provide illumination from multiple points. The combination of transparent, amber and smoked panels influences how the light appears around the pendant. Clear sections allow the lamps to remain more visible, while coloured and textured glass can help create a softer, more decorative lighting effect.

The fitting is mains-operated and designed for permanent ceiling installation. Its chain suspension creates a traditional hanging arrangement, while the contemporary mixed-glass shade makes it suitable for both decorative and general room lighting.

With a maximum hanging height of 124 cm, ceiling height and the intended position should be considered before installation, particularly when placing the pendant above a dining table or in a circulation area.

The clear, amber, and smoked decorative panels create contrasting appearances as light passes through and around them. The textured glass also adds visual interest. The final lighting effect will depend on the brightness and colour temperature of the bulbs selected.

Is the Maya pendant suitable for positioning above a dining table?
