Alana - Satin Brass & Marble Floor Lamp with Ribbed Smoked Glass

The defining feature of this Searchlight floor lamp is its smoked grey ribbed glass shade. The textured glass introduces a decorative pattern and subtly changes the appearance of the light passing through it.

A slender metal frame in a satin brass finish supports the glass shade, creating a contrast between the warm metallic surface and cooler grey glass. The white marble base adds another material and colour to the design, while providing a substantial-looking foundation.

With a height of 153 cm, the lamp has a tall, elegant profile. Its combination of glass, metal and marble makes it suitable for contemporary living spaces with understated decorative details.

The Searchlight 701879 uses one replaceable E27 bulb, allowing the light source to be replaced when necessary. The manufacturer specifies a 7W lamp rating, and the bulb is not supplied with the fitting.

Light passes through the smoked grey ribbed glass shade, which adds texture to the illuminated surface and can help create a softer decorative lighting effect. The resulting brightness and colour of the light will depend on the E27 bulb selected.

The floor lamp is designed for standard on/off operation and is not dimmable. It does not include an integrated LED light source or adjustable brightness control.

Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor spaces. As a freestanding floor lamp, it can provide an additional light source beside seating, in a bedroom corner or in an area where supplementary lighting is useful.

• Living rooms requiring decorative supplementary lighting beside a sofa or armchair.
• Bedroom corners where a freestanding light can complement existing lighting.
• Contemporary interiors featuring brass, marble or smoked glass details.
