Galvion - Galvanised Silver Wall Lamp with Clear Glass IP44

The Galvion has the character of a traditional outdoor lantern, finished in galvanised grey for a more industrial appearance. Its simple wall-bracket format makes it suitable for both classic exterior architecture and contemporary homes using natural or textured materials.

The lantern measures 23 cm across and extends 27 cm from the mounting wall. At 25 cm high, it has proportions suitable for placing beside an entrance or along an exterior wall. The galvanised finish provides an alternative to the black, bronze and polished finishes commonly found on outdoor lighting.

Its understated colouring works particularly well alongside exposed brickwork, natural stone, timber cladding and neutral exterior surfaces.

The Searchlight Galvion uses one E27 replaceable bulb, which is purchased separately. This gives you control over the light output and colour temperature rather than relying on a permanently integrated light source.

An LED bulb can provide practical illumination for an entrance, doorway or outdoor seating area. A warm white colour temperature can help create a welcoming appearance, while a neutral white bulb may be preferable where clearer task lighting is required.

The fitting is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Its IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for appropriately installed outdoor wall lighting. The fitting is Class I earthed and requires connection to a suitable electrical supply.
