Aria - Gold Table Lamp with Green Glass

The lamp features a rounded, tapered green glass shade with a raised diamond pattern across its surface. The textured design catches and refracts light, creating small variations in brightness across the glass when illuminated.

A smooth cylindrical base in a satin brass-coloured finish provides a simple contrast to the detailed shade. The combination of green glass and warm metallic colouring works particularly well with contemporary, vintage-inspired and modern classic interiors.

At just 17.5 cm tall, the lamp has a compact silhouette that can sit comfortably among books, ornaments and other decorative accessories without dominating the surrounding furniture.

The Searchlight 700470 uses one replaceable E27 bulb, which is not included. The manufacturer specifies a 7W lamp rating for this model.

Light passes through the green, diamond-textured glass shade rather than through an open fabric shade. The pattern breaks up the appearance of the illuminated bulb and produces decorative highlights across the glass, making the lamp particularly suitable for supplementary lighting.

An E27 LED bulb can provide an energy-efficient light source. The colour temperature and brightness depend on the bulb selected, so a warm white option can be considered where a softer lighting effect is preferred.

This table lamp is not dimmable and provides on/off operation only. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor locations rather than bathrooms or outdoor areas exposed to moisture.

What bulb does the Searchlight 700470 table lamp use?

The lamp requires one E27 bulb, which must be purchased separately. The manufacturer lists a 7W lamp rating. An E27 LED bulb is a suitable option, provided its wattage and physical dimensions are appropriate for the fitting.

Is the green glass table lamp dimmable?

No. Searchlight identifies this model as non-dimmable. It is intended for normal on/off operation rather than adjustable brightness control.

How large is the Searchlight 700470?

The lamp measures 17.5 cm high, 15 cm wide and 15 cm deep. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for bedside cabinets, narrow console tables and smaller living room surfaces where a larger lamp may be impractical.

Does the patterned glass affect the light?

Yes. The raised diamond pattern refracts light through the green glass, creating decorative highlights and a textured illuminated appearance. The effect depends on the bulb fitted, including its brightness and colour temperature. It is better suited to accent lighting than precise reading or desk work.

Can this lamp be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor environments and does not provide protection against water. The lamp is better placed in a bedroom, living room, hallway or another dry interior location.
