Broadway - Black Up & Down Wall Lamp with Amber Diffuser

The Broadway features a tall, cylindrical profile with a black finish and amber glass diffusers at the top and bottom. Its streamlined shape gives the fitting a contemporary appearance, while the contrasting amber glass adds a warmer decorative detail.

Constructed from ABS and glass, the light has a central black body separating the two illuminated sections. The curved transitions between the black housing and glass create a distinctive appearance without excessive decoration.

At 30 cm high, 6.5 cm wide and projecting 9 cm from the wall, the fitting has a relatively narrow profile. Its proportions work particularly well when installed vertically beside doorways or repeated along an exterior wall.

The Broadway uses two replaceable E27 LED bulbs, with one light source positioned towards the top and the other towards the bottom. This arrangement produces upward and downward illumination, helping to highlight the wall surface in both directions.

The amber glass diffusers influence the appearance of the emitted light, creating a warmer visual effect than clear glass. Actual brightness and colour temperature depend on the LED bulbs selected.

Both bulbs are purchased separately, allowing the light output and colour temperature to be chosen according to the installation.

The main lighting features include:

• Two E27 lampholders for replaceable LED bulbs.
• Upward and downward light distribution from separate light sources.
• Amber glass diffusers for a decorative lighting effect.
• IP44 protection against splashing water.
• Class II double insulated electrical construction.

As a mains-wired fitting with replaceable E27 bulbs, it is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

The two glass sections can be removed to access the lampholders when installing or replacing bulbs. The fitting is designed for fixed wall mounting and connection to a mains lighting circuit.

Are LED bulbs included with the Searchlight Broadway 39940BK?

It is suitable for appropriately positioned outdoor wall installations, including entrances and patios. It is not intended for immersion or locations requiring protection against powerful water jets.

Can the Searchlight Broadway 39940BK be dimmed?

As a mains-wired wall light with replaceable E27 bulbs, it is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.
