Varaggio - Black Up & Down CCT Wall Lamp IP44

The Varaggio features a simple rectangular design with softly rounded edges and a slim, contemporary profile. Its black powder-coated finish creates a neat appearance that works particularly well with modern exterior architecture, dark window frames and contemporary entrance areas.

The fitting is constructed from ABS and glass, with a frosted glass diffuser that softens the appearance of the integrated LED light source. The understated design avoids exposed bulbs and decorative detailing, making it suitable for locations where a clean, unobtrusive finish is important.

At only 2.8 cm high, the housing sits close to the mounting surface, helping maintain a streamlined appearance on walls or ceilings.

The Searchlight Varaggio uses a built-in 5W LED light source, so no separate bulbs are required. Light passes through the frosted glass diffuser, helping to reduce the direct appearance of the LEDs while providing illumination for nearby exterior surfaces.

Three selectable colour temperatures provide flexibility for different applications:

• 3000K Warm White - A warmer light colour suitable for welcoming entrances and comfortable exterior lighting.
• 4000K Cool White - A neutral white light suitable for everyday entrance and pathway illumination.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable. The fitting is Class I earthed and requires a suitable mains electrical connection.

Does the Searchlight Varaggio 39910BK need a separate bulb?

No. The Varaggio has a built-in 5W LED light source, so there is no need to purchase an E27, GU10 or other replacement bulb. The LED is integrated into the fitting rather than installed in a conventional bulb holder.

Can I change the colour temperature?

Yes. The light has three selectable colour temperatures: 3000K warm white, 4000K cool white and 6500K daylight. Selection is made using an internal switch accessed during installation. It does not provide continuous colour adjustment or remote-controlled colour changing.

Is the Varaggio suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Its IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water, making it suitable for appropriately positioned outdoor walls, entrances, porches and similar locations. It should not be installed where it will be submerged or subjected to high-pressure water jets.

Can this light be installed on a ceiling?

Yes. Searchlight specifies the Varaggio for both outdoor wall and ceiling applications. Its shallow 2.8 cm profile makes it useful where a discreet surface-mounted fitting is required. Installation should follow the manufacturer's instructions and the requirements of the mounting location.

Is the Searchlight Varaggio dimmable?
