Button - Black Marble Effect CCT Flush with Diffuser IP65

The Button features a circular design with a black marble-effect finish around its outer edge. The subtle marbled detailing adds visual interest while maintaining a simple, modern appearance.

A polycarbonate outer ring surrounds the white central diffuser, which conceals the integrated LED light source and creates a smooth, enclosed lighting surface.

With a diameter of 23 cm and a height of 7 cm, the fitting sits close to the mounting surface. Its understated proportions work well in bathrooms, utility rooms and contemporary interiors where a large or suspended light would be less suitable.

The Searchlight Button 33230BK uses an integrated LED light source, so there is no need to purchase or fit a separate bulb. Light passes through the white central diffuser, helping to soften the illumination and reduce direct visibility of the LEDs.

An internal colour temperature selector provides three white light settings:

• 2700K - warm white light with a soft, welcoming appearance.
• 3100K - a slightly cooler warm white suitable for general everyday lighting.
• 4000K - neutral white light for kitchens, bathrooms and practical working areas.

The colour temperature is selected using a switch inside the fitting during installation.

The integrated LED is dimmable with a suitable compatible dimmer, as indicated by the manufacturer's current product specification.

Its IP65 rating provides dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets. The fitting is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting, offering flexibility in bathrooms, hallways, sheltered porches and utility spaces.

• Bathrooms - IP65 protection makes it suitable for appropriately positioned installations in moisture-prone areas.
• Ensuites and shower rooms - compact, enclosed construction suits spaces exposed to humidity.
• Kitchens - selectable white light settings provide flexibility for everyday activities.
• Hallways and corridors - a close-to-surface fitting helps maintain a clear overhead space.
• Utility rooms - integrated LED lighting provides practical general illumination.
• Sheltered porches and covered entrances - suitable for appropriately protected exterior locations.
• Contemporary interiors - the black marble-effect finish coordinates with dark fittings, stone-effect surfaces and modern decorative schemes.

• Integrated LED light source - eliminates the need to purchase replacement-style bulbs separately.

Is the Searchlight Button 33230BK suitable for bathrooms?

Yes. Its IP65 rating provides protection against dust and water jets, making it suitable for many bathroom applications, including moisture-prone areas. The precise installation position must still comply with the electrical safety requirements for the relevant bathroom zone.

Does this light need a separate LED bulb?

No. The Button has an integrated LED light source included within the fitting. There is no separate E27, E14 or GU10 bulb to purchase or install, and the central diffuser covers the LED assembly.

Can I change the colour temperature?

Yes. An internal selector provides 2700K warm white, 3100K warm white and 4000K neutral white settings. The preferred colour temperature is selected inside the fitting during installation, rather than through a remote control.

Can the Button be fitted to a wall instead of a ceiling?

Yes. Searchlight describes the Button as suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting. Its compact circular design is useful for corridors, utility rooms, bathrooms and covered entrance areas where a surface-mounted light is preferred.

Can the Searchlight Button 33230BK be dimmed?

Yes. The manufacturer's current specification lists the integrated LED as dimmable. A compatible dimmer is required, and compatibility should be checked before installation. The internal colour temperature selector is a separate function from brightness adjustment.
