Opus Lux - Bronze 3 Light CCT Flush with Amber Glass

The Opus Lux combines a painted bronze metal fitting with three rounded amber glass shades. The contrast between the darker bronze finish and the warm glass colour creates a decorative look that works well with contemporary furnishings and modern interiors featuring warmer tones.

Each glass globe hangs beneath the circular ceiling-mounted base, creating a layered arrangement rather than a conventional flat ceiling light. The three-globe design adds visual interest while keeping the overall height relatively compact.

With a total height of 22 cm, the fitting is suitable for rooms where a decorative ceiling light is wanted without the longer drop of a pendant or chandelier.

The Opus Lux uses three integrated LED light sources housed within its amber glass shades. The LEDs are included as part of the fitting, so no separate bulbs need to be purchased. Light is distributed from three positions beneath the ceiling base, while the amber glass influences the appearance of the illumination.

A built-in 3CCT function provides three selectable colour temperatures:

• 2700K - warm white lighting for a softer, more relaxed appearance.
• 3500K - an intermediate white setting suitable for general everyday lighting.
• 4000K - neutral white lighting for a clearer, less warm appearance.

The manufacturer specifies light outputs of 582, 695 and 641 lumens across the three colour temperature settings respectively.

Brightness can also be adjusted through the integrated three-step dimming function. Switching the light on and off in sequence cycles through 100%, 50% and 10% brightness. This operates using an ordinary wall switch, so an external dimmer switch is not required.

The colour temperature is selected using the switch provided within the fitting during installation.

• Living rooms - decorative ceiling lighting with adjustable brightness for different activities.
• Bedrooms - amber glass and selectable warm white lighting for a softer evening setting.
• Hallways - a compact three-light arrangement without a long pendant suspension.
• Landings - a decorative alternative to a conventional flush ceiling fitting.
• Dining areas - adjustable light colour and brightness for everyday use and dining.
• Contemporary interiors - particularly rooms featuring bronze, brown, cream or other warm decorative tones.
• Hospitality interiors - indoor lounges and similar dry areas where decorative ceiling lighting is appropriate.

• Three-light design - distributes illumination from three separate glass globes beneath the ceiling base.
• Painted bronze finish - provides a darker decorative contrast against the amber glass shades.
• Amber glass shades - introduce a warm colour element to the fitting and influence the appearance of the emitted light.
• Integrated LED lighting - light sources are supplied with the fitting, removing the need to purchase separate bulbs.
• Three selectable colour temperatures - choose between 2700K, 3500K and 4000K to suit the room and preferred lighting appearance.
• Three-step dimming - adjust brightness to 100%, 50% or 10% using a standard wall switch.
• No external dimmer required - brightness adjustment is built into the fitting itself.
• Compact ceiling-mounted construction - its 22 cm height avoids the extended drop of a suspended pendant.
• Class II double insulation - provides the electrical insulation arrangement specified by the manufacturer.
• IP20 rating - suitable for general indoor installation in dry areas.

• Combines decorative amber glass with a bronze finish for a distinctive ceiling feature that suits warmer interior colour schemes.
• Offers both brightness adjustment and colour temperature selection, providing more lighting flexibility than a fixed-output ceiling light.
• The built-in stepped dimming works through a conventional wall switch, without requiring a separate dimmer control.
• Its compact arrangement is useful where a suspended chandelier or pendant would extend too far into the room.
• Integrated LED technology simplifies initial bulb purchasing because the light sources are already incorporated into the fitting.
• Suitable for several dry indoor spaces, making the design adaptable to living areas, bedrooms and circulation spaces.

Does the Searchlight Opus Lux 26302-3BZ require separate bulbs?

No. The fitting comes with integrated LED light sources, so there is no need to purchase separate bulbs. The LEDs form part of the ceiling light rather than using conventional replaceable lamp holders.

Can I dim this ceiling light using a normal wall switch?

Yes. The Opus Lux has built-in three-step dimming. Using a standard wall switch, you can cycle through 100%, 50% and 10% brightness by switching the light on and off in sequence. No external dimmer switch is required.

Can I change the colour temperature of the light?

Yes. The integrated 3CCT function provides a choice of 2700K warm white, 3500K intermediate white and 4000K neutral white. The colour temperature is selected using a switch within the fitting during installation. This is separate from the three-step brightness control.

Is this ceiling light suitable for rooms with lower ceilings?

Its flush-mounted construction and 22 cm overall height make it a practical alternative to a longer hanging pendant. However, the glass globes still project below the ceiling, so check the available headroom and the proposed installation position before purchasing.

Can the Opus Lux ceiling light be installed in a bathroom or outdoors?

The fitting has an IP20 rating and is intended for general indoor use in dry areas. It is not designed for outdoor exposure or locations where protection against water is required. For bathrooms, choose a fitting with an appropriate IP rating for the intended installation zone.
