Furze - Black & Brass Pendant with Ribbed Glass

The Furze pendant features a wide, shallow shade made from transparent ribbed glass. Vertical fluting adds texture and definition while preserving an open, airy appearance. Black detailing on the ceiling rose, cable and upper lampholder section creates a crisp contrast with the warmer brass-coloured accents.

A compact decorative frame surrounds the upper section of the shade, adding an industrial-inspired detail without making the fitting look heavy. The clear glass leaves the bulb visible, so the appearance of the selected lamp will form part of the overall design.

This mains-operated pendant uses one replaceable E27 LED bulb with a verified maximum rating of 10W. The bulb is not included, allowing the brightness and colour temperature to be selected according to the room and intended use.

The ribbed clear glass allows light to pass through the shade while adding a subtle textured effect around the fitting. Its open underside also directs useful illumination towards the surface below, making it suitable for task areas as well as general decorative lighting.

The suspension can be shortened during installation from its maximum height of 150 cm. It is compatible with dimmable E27 LED bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Is the bulb included with the Prism Furze pendant?

No. One E27 LED bulb must be purchased separately. The fitting supports a product-specific maximum of 10W LED, allowing you to choose a suitable brightness and colour temperature.

Can this pendant be dimmed?

Yes. It can be used with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible wall dimmer switch. Both components need to be suitable for each other for reliable dimming.

Can the hanging height be adjusted?

Yes. The pendant has a maximum height of 150 cm and the suspension can be shortened during installation. The required drop should be set by the installer before the fitting is secured.

Is the Furze pendant suitable for a bathroom?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor areas and does not provide the moisture protection normally required for bathroom zones or outdoor locations.

Where does this pendant work best?

Its 30.5 cm diameter suits dining tables, breakfast bars, kitchen islands, bedside areas and smaller seating zones. Several fittings may also be arranged in a row above a longer surface.
