Bloom - Brass Pendant with White & Amber Glass ∅ 17 cm

The Bloom pendant combines a simple spherical form with contrasting finishes. Its 17 cm diameter diffuser is made from white acid-etched blown glass, which gives the fitting a soft, understated appearance when switched off and helps conceal the bulb from direct view.

A brass-finished metal ceiling rose and frame introduce a warmer decorative accent, while the black PVC cable creates a defined visual line between the ceiling and the glass shade. The restrained shape works well in contemporary interiors as well as rooms with classic or modern-classic details.

The pendant uses one E27 bulb, purchased separately. Its acid-etched glass diffuser softens the visible light and helps distribute it around the shade, making the fitting suitable for decorative general lighting or focused placement above a table, worktop or bedside unit.

LED bulbs can be used, enabling the brightness and colour temperature to be selected to suit the room. A warm white bulb can complement the brass finish in dining rooms and bedrooms, while a brighter bulb may be preferred above a kitchen surface.

As a mains-wired pendant with a replaceable bulb, it is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The bulb and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly. The suspension height can be adjusted during installation between 70 cm and approximately 248.3 cm.

Is the bulb included with the pendant?

No. The Bloom pendant requires one E27 bulb, which must be purchased separately. This gives you control over the brightness and colour temperature used in the room.

Can the Ideal Lux Bloom pendant use an LED bulb?

Yes. The E27 lamp holder is compatible with suitable LED bulbs. The fitting has a stated traditional bulb maximum of 42W per bulb, but no product-specific maximum LED wattage has been confirmed.

Can this pendant be dimmed?

It can be dimmed when fitted with a dimmable E27 bulb and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The bulb and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Is the suspension height adjustable?

Yes. The overall height can be adjusted during installation from 700 mm to a maximum of 2483 mm. This provides flexibility when positioning the pendant above a table, kitchen island or bedside unit.

Can this pendant be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. Its IP20 rating is intended for dry indoor areas and does not provide protection against water. It should not be installed outdoors or within bathroom zones that require a moisture-resistant fitting.
