Atlas - Black 6 Light Pendant with Opal Glasses

The Atlas pendant has a sculptural, branching form finished in matt black. Its slim metal arms can be repositioned, allowing the arrangement of the six light points to be adjusted to suit the room and viewing angle.

Each arm ends in a spherical diffuser made from white acid-etched blown glass. The opaque glass softens the appearance of the bulbs and creates a balanced contrast against the dark frame. Steel support cables and a black magnetic ceiling rose complete the suspended design without distracting from the wide geometric arrangement.

Six separate G9 light sources distribute illumination across the fitting rather than concentrating it in one central point. The acid-etched white glass diffusers soften glare and produce a general, diffused lighting effect suitable for everyday ambient illumination.

Six 4W G9 LED bulbs are included, each producing a warm white 3000K light. Replacement bulbs can have a maximum power of 4W LED per lamp holder.

The pendant is compatible with dimmable G9 LED bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch. The supplied bulbs are not confirmed as dimmable, so they may need to be replaced for dimming. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

The suspension height can be adjusted during installation, while the positionable arms provide additional control over the final shape of the fitting.

Are bulbs included with the Atlas SP6 pendant?

Yes. The pendant is supplied with six 4W G9 LED bulbs producing a warm white 3000K light. The bulbs are replaceable, and each lamp holder accepts a G9 LED bulb with a verified maximum power of 4W.

Can the height of the pendant be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension can be adjusted during installation from a minimum overall height of 460 mm to a maximum of 2265 mm. This provides flexibility when positioning the light above a dining table, kitchen island or open living area.

Can the arms be moved?

Yes. The matt black arms are positionable, allowing the installer to alter the arrangement of the six glass globes. The final layout can therefore be adapted to the available space and the preferred appearance of the fitting.

Is the Ideal Lux Atlas 365114 dimmable?

The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 LED bulbs when connected to a suitable dimmer switch. The supplied bulbs are not confirmed as dimmable and may require replacement. The bulbs and dimmer switch need to be matched to each other for dimming to work properly.

Is this pendant suitable for a bathroom?

The Atlas pendant has an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor areas. It does not provide the moisture protection normally required within bathroom zones, so it is better suited to dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms and similar dry spaces.
