Ginger - Black 2 Light Floor Lamp

The Ginger PT2 has a tall, slender profile finished in black, with a powder-coated metal base and frame. Two compact cylindrical light heads are positioned along the upright structure, keeping the overall design visually light despite its height.

Each diffuser can be adjusted, so the direction of the light can be changed to suit the position of furniture or the activity taking place. The simple geometry and restrained finish make the lamp easy to combine with modern furniture, monochrome schemes and understated contemporary interiors.

Two GU10 lampholders provide separate points of directional light. The adjustable diffusers can be aimed where illumination is needed, making the lamp useful for reading, work areas or highlighting particular parts of a room.

A double switch allows the two lights to be operated independently. You can use one head on its own or switch on both when additional illumination is required. The lamp connects through a PVC cable with a plug, so it does not require permanent connection to a lighting circuit.

Are the bulbs included with the Ginger PT2?

Yes. Ideal Lux lists bulbs as included with the Ginger PT2 Nero. The lamp uses two GU10 lampholders, so suitable GU10 replacement bulbs can be fitted when the original bulbs eventually need replacing.

Can I use LED bulbs in this floor lamp?

Yes. The replaceable GU10 lampholders can be used with suitable GU10 LED bulbs. The manufacturer lists a 28W maximum per lampholder for the original specification, but does not provide a separate product-specific maximum LED wattage.

Can the two lights be switched separately?

Yes. The Ginger PT2 has a double switch designed for independent control of the two light sources. This means you can use either one light or both, depending on where and how much illumination is required.

Can I adjust the direction of the light?

Yes. Both diffusers are adjustable, allowing the two light beams to be directed towards reading areas, work surfaces or other parts of the room rather than remaining fixed in one position.
