Why should I use Marine grade outdoor lighting?

The general guideline is if you are living within 5 miles of the coastline, it is recommended to use marine-grade or lighting suitable for coastal areas.

Occasional spraying with some fresh water will help the finish on marine grade outdoor wall lights stay as it should be, and checking the mounting and seals will help the wiring and light source to remain in good shape.
